Warranty Policy

Nauticoat Limited Warranty

Coverage Duration:
Nauticoat warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 36 months from the date of shipment to the original purchaser.

Covered Defects:

This warranty covers the following issues:

  • Pits: Small holes present in the material from the supplier.
  • Delamination: Separation between layers of foam.
  • Production Damage: Damage caused during the manufacturing process.
  • Production Errors: Mistakes occurring during product production.
  • CAD Errors: Errors from initial design or nesting of the product.
  • Logistics Errors: Issues like shipment to the wrong address or carrier mishandling.
  • Excessive Fading: Premature or excessive lightening of the product's color.
  • Material Degradation: Deterioration of material due to environmental exposure.
  • Color Bleeding: Dye extraction when the product gets wet.
  • Color Variance: Significant deviation (±50%) from the intended color.
  • Workmanship: Defects in the skill with which the product has been made.

Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover:

  • Installation: Application or installation of the product.
  • Adhesion: Bonding of the product to surfaces.
  • Light Amplification: Damage from focused sunlight reflecting off surfaces.
  • Improper Storage: Storing the product against recommended guidelines.
  • Fading/Discoloration: Normal color changes over time.
  • Wear and Tear: Damage from regular use.
  • Scuffs and Scratches: Surface abrasions.
  • Stains: Discoloration from external substances.
  • Animal Damage: Damage caused by animals.
  • Modifications: Altered or cut parts.
  • Subsequent Owners: Warranty is non-transferable.
  • Third-Party Purchases: Products not purchased directly from Nauticoat or authorized dealers.Warranty Claims:
    To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must:
  1. Submit a completed Warranty Replacement Request.
  2. Provide supporting photographs depicting the defective condition.
  3. Return the product if requested.

If any changes need to be made to your warranty request, an email must be sent to warranty@nauticoat.com within 1 business day from the date of submission. This does not guarantee that the requested changes will be accommodated.

Remedies:

If a defect is confirmed and falls under warranty coverage, Nauticoat will, at its discretion:

  • Replace the defective part.
  • Provide a refund for the defective part.

Shipping charges for replacement parts within the U.S. may be covered by Nauticoat. International shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

Limitations:

Nauticoat's total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the replacement value of the covered product. Nauticoat is not liable for consequential or indirect damages, including property damage, personal injury, or loss of use.

Governing Law:

This warranty is governed by the laws of the state of Florida, U.S.A. Any legal actions must be filed in Brevard County, Florida, or in the Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division.
